Store Chemical Processes in Horn Manure Preparation
$4.00
a Biodynamics Journal Paper. The research project follows chemical and biological parameters during the fermentation-treatment process of one of the principle biodynamic farming “preparations” called “500″- made from dairy manure. Years later after preparing this report, Brinton said “if anyone could devise a composting process as exemplary and nearly perfect as Biodynamic 500 tests out, then that would really be something”. The researchers controlled as variables the size of cow horns employed, the sex of the animal, the type of container (including glass of same weight:volume aspect), and followed the changes over the 6-7 month treatment process in the soil. “Samples that came from bull horns, or too high volume:weight ration; or synthetic material (glass) possessed totally different anaerobic properties than the properly made material. “You really wonder what’s going on in the treatment process, when you see these data”.
