Store Essay "Deconstruction is Compost Maturity"
$4.00
(Essay). A Biocycle magazine postscript by William Brinton examining the linguistically opaque and sometimes contradictory expressions “stability” and “maturity” which have taken root in American compost usage. “One is the other is not the other” is basically the way the industry is defining english expressions stability and maturity. Somehow Americans evolved a word usage picked up by other English speaking countries that chooses to distinguish the two from each other, a scientific conundrum – whereas more advanced composting nations in Europe have tended to choose one and go with it in all its ramifications. “Its almost as though a committee out there is still trying to figure out what the terms mean- and that’s correct, we don’t understand them logically”.
