Store Herbicide Residues in Compost, Part I
$5.00
Herbicide residues in lawn care raised concerns that
damage to plants could result from composted grass clippings. But plant tests used to
detect damage were developed hastily and failed to take into account the varying pH
and salinity of composts. This paper shows how more uniform results can be
obtained by factoring out salinity as it effects peas, beans and clover seedlings.
