The Woods End Oxygen Probe has been specially designed based on years of experience in measuring oxygen levels in active compost piles. The oxygen measuring system combines a simple rugged probe for insertion into compost piles plus a hand held vacume pump and oxygen sensor module. All parts are easlily replaced if damaged, and the effective life of the oxygen sensor module is six months to several years depending on handling and choice of model.

Total unit includes: oxygen meter and sensor, 4 foot steel probe with air holes in the bottom to insert in pile, probe head that provides a compression fit to the sensor, vacuum bulb to draw air, 0-100 mV recorder output, and rugged carrying case for both the meter and the probe. Sensor does not require membrane replacement or maintenance during expected life; temperature compensated, requiring no zero adjustment.

***Basic Unit: can also be used for aqueous dissolved oxygen measurements.
